I am a Professor of Mathematics and the Learning Futurist for the LIFT Institute at Muskegon Community College (in Michigan).  I am an author, a speaker, a blogger, and a futurist. I am also the CEO of Edge of Learning LLC, an educational consulting business. Through my business, I do some contract work for textbook companies, educational software companies, and speaking engagements at conferences and workshops.
