		<description>I did this recently and was astounded at the majority of the sites that offer NO way to delete your account. Over 80% of the sites, services, betas, and accounts I signed up for, I had to email to get my account deleted. I had to get pushy at times too.

I ended up deleting/cancelling over 30 accounts, most of which I didn&#039;t remember ever signing up for. Luckily, I&#039;m as big of an email pack rat as I am a sign-up happy early adopter. I always tagged my registration or &#039;password changed&#039; emails and went back and went through those. Worked surprisingly well. However, out of the 30+ accounts I asked to be deleted, I still haven&#039;t heard back from 10 of them. That&#039;s after multiple emails sent to them. :/</description>
