		<description>The time taken to play through is hard to avoid if using this particular game.  I totally agree that actually taking this idea into your classroom comes with all kinds of challenges, and may not be worth it.

At the same time, the implicit lesson here is long-term financial planning, so it&#039;s hard for me to recommend hunting down a game that shortens the play cycle significantly.  If the reward for choosing higher interest rates is an immediate one, you&#039;re not really learning the same thing.  The ideal, I guess, would be something turn-based that can be done in bite-sized pieces over a longer period of time.

Another possibility is to draw out more value by asking students to deconstruct more of the math inside the game; increase the learning/time spent ratio that way.  (Maybe.)</description>
